I have a book I bought in an antique store in Waco Texas that I believe was written by Ida Dora Snyder in the year 1887. I would love to find some family that may have handwriting or could verify this book. It was written by Charles Dickens and it is a first printing of “The Old Curiosity Shop.” The inscription states: “Grandma- With a Marry Christmas from your loving Granddaughter, Ida Dora Snyder, Christmas, 1887.”

      1. Jason-Ida Dora Snyder would be my great Aunt and her Grandmothers were Sarah Wisler Snyder and Maria Trump Deisher. My Uncle Clarence Snyder lived in Stephenville, Texas. Is that near you? I have been trying to locate his family without success. If you ever want to sell that book please let me know. Sincerely, Eric Snyder at Snydereric@aol.com. Take care and contact me whenever.
