William Edward Hocker (1855—1946), Henry Arthur Hocker (1857—1938), John Buser Hocker (1859—1911), and Clarence Marion Hocker (1868—1938) were the sons of John Benjamin and Mary Ann (HESS) HOCKER. The couple’s two other children Ira Franklin Hocker and Mary Ellen Hocker both died young.

William married three times. First, he married Nora Ann COCKRELL, daughter of Peter COCKRELL, in Jan 1882 in Rio Grande County, Colorado. He married second Nora’s sister Joetta COCKRELL in 1886 in Rio Grande County, Colorado. Finally, he married 19 Jan 1893 Leonora REDMON, daughter of Garrett Clellen and Rebecca Charlotte (MOSS) REDMON.

David Elmer Hocker was listed as a baker in the 1910 US census and as a baker for the Butter Pretzel Baking Co. in 1930. According to the above photo, David Hocker was the proprietor of the Butter Pretzel Baking Co. in Harrisburg. His sons were also employees of the company in 1930.

He married Carrie May Baker, daughter of Henry J. and Sarah A. (___) Baker, on 15 Oct 1867 in Halifax township, Dauphin county, Pennsylvania. David and Carrie had two sons: Chester Earl Hocker (1898—1979) and Clyde Dewey Hocker (1900—1957).
